Dan is the president and co-founder of SC Equities and an experienced real estate broker and investor.

With over twenty years as a commercial real estate broker, encompassing over $1 billion in transactions, Dan has successfully marketed properties of all types, from raw land to commercial buildings. As a broker, he specializes in the sale of distressed and REO properties. As a real estate investor, Dan has successfully purchased and repositioned office, retail and apartment properties throughout southern California. A quintessential real estate investor, he is deeply passionate about the business that he has cultivated over decades of commitment to the industry.
         

Dan also served as a member of the board of directors for the George Elkins Company in Los Angeles. The company employed more than 150 people specializing in appraisal, financing, management and insurance of commercial property in Southern California. Additionally, he is the former president of the University of Southern California Trojan Athletic Board of Directors.

Kirt is partner and co-founder of SC Equities, and is a real estate broker, investor and developer.  He brings to the firm more than 24 years of experience specializing in real estate private equity capital formation, asset management, business development, and acquisitions.  Kirt has advised in the structuring, evaluation, and investment of more than $2.5 billion in projects in various structures, including joint ventures, equity and debt. 

At SC Equities, Kirt oversees capital markets business development, the strengthening of capital relationships, and representing investors with their capital requirements. He provides solutions with the best-in-class investor alignment. 

Prior to co-founding SC Equities, Kirt spent two decades at some of the largest private equity firms in the US including Trammell Crow and Donahue Schriber. He contributed to the growth, origination, structuring, sourcing, underwriting, negotiation, capitalization and investment of assets across multiple product types, size ranges, classes and geographies. 

Kirt’s transaction experience includes retail, multifamily, industrial, office, hospitality, student housing, self-storage and senior living. He leverages the deep relationships he has built over the years with family offices, RIAs, trusts, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, private equity, endowments, foundations, pensions, and large funds.
